Within the pages below you will find heritage breeds which have not taken kindly to factory farming.  Each breed has its own unique winning quality but expect rich flavours and marbling throughout which tenderises the meat upon cooking, and can only be achieved when animals are raised slowly on lush green pastures.

Research has shown that the nutritional value of Grass Fed meats is higher than grain fed meats. It makes sense that heritage breed animals raised with nature, will produce meat with more taste, more nutrition and in a traditional manner which is better for the planet.
