Quail have a lovely delicate flavour and very popular with our customers. They are small wild birds and we would suggset serving 2 per person.
Frozen for much of the year as Cartmel Valley Game will only hunt them when plentiful.
These birds are oven ready, with the head still on.
Our Weekly Market Wild Game is from Cartmel Valley Game & Smokehouse, a family run business established in 1994 by Jonathan & Susan Stott who still run it along with their daughter Georgina.
