Jersey Rose Veal Escalopes - boneless pieces of meat that are very tender, cut thinly and perfect for frying. Famously used in Wiener Schnitzel - these escalopes are very thin and will melt in the mouth. 225-300 grams per pack
Jersey Rose Veal Chuck (Shoulder) Joint - A lovely and great value joint which melts in your mouth when cooked slowly. Perfect for roasting or the Slow Cooker. 750 - 950g
Jersey Rose Veal Fillet Medallions - Cut from the Boneless loin, and is the most prized, tender and succulent part .Four medallions are cut from this loin to produce 4 small fillets that can be fried fast. Serve medium rare for a beautiful steak. Serves 2.
Jersey Rose Veal Mince - A great alternative to beef mince, suitable for homemade burgers or meatballs. Deliciously light. 450-550 grams
Our Weekly Market Jersey Rose Veal is bred, reared and butchered at Kersdown Barton Farm where a herd of Pedigree Jersey Dairy cows are milked and for several years the Jersey bull calves are reared to produce Rose Veal.
"Jersey and Guernsey bull calves produce lean Rose Veal, instead of having them suffer the same fate as many other dairy bull calves by being shot at birth. The calves are reared outdoors in the summer in groups of 24, and indoor in huge straw courts in the winter in groups of 12. They are fed milk twice a day plus a heatlhy diet of grass, our own hay.. We have been given the highest award by Compassion in World Farming for our welfare standards."
