A Delicious Evolution

Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred ex-Red Wine casks bring a balanced and nuanced maturation, creating the perfect environment for our light and creamy whisky to draw out the delicious red fruit flavours from the wood. Created using our bespoke oak solera method and bottled at 47.3% abv, this is an exciting next step for our distillery.

Age, Depth & Complexity

Made using a solera-style approach, more accurately, a fractional blending method, every time we bottle Filey Bay STR Red Wine Cask, we replace that whisky with casks carefully selected from the warehouse. This keeps the flavour profile consistent, while allowing the whisky to gain age, depth and complexity.
