Stroud Brewery is an organic, B Corp brewery based in the Cotswolds.

Initially the brewery was a passion project for founder Greg Pilley; an adventurer, environmentalist and beer lover. His purpose was simply to make great tasting beers for the local community whilst being the change he wanted to see in the business world.

The brewery is on a mission to make outstanding organic beer without damaging the planet and bring people together to inspire positive change. They believe the only way to be truly sustainable is to invest in responsible organic farming.

Stroud Brewery's range of beers and lager have won many awards, their LOL won GOLD for national Independent lager in 2024 and the business won the SIBA Business award for most sustainability brewery in 2025.

The whole team were thrilled to have become a B Corporation in 2018 but that’s not the end of it because they are re-assessed every three years and, in-between, have to continue becoming more sustainable. Their most recent carbon footprint assessment showed that they’ve done virtually all they can to reduce the brewery’s carbon dioxide emissions – something they’re very chuffed about.

In fact, in 2023, Stroud Brewery won the national title of Sustainable Pub of the Year in the Great British Pub Awards, plus the Sustainable Business Award in the SoGlos Business Awards. In 2024, they added to these achievements by winning the sustainability award in the C2S awards.
