The British Charcuterie Industry is vibrant, with the emergence of many amazing producers. Porcus is extra special because they don’t buy in their pork, they breed it, rear it and butcher it.

All their pigs are truly outdoor bred, thriving in the fresh Pennine air and fed a diet of Beer Mash and grain. Porcus have control from pig to plate, with no compromise and total respect in all that they do, to create exquisite tasting meat.

Their flavoursome charcuterie is cured using traditional methods creating some of the finest air dried hams, coppa and culatello meats.

Sarah Jane (one time successful London architect) is a colourful character, full of humour, and passionate about Porcus produce, (Not always easy in the face of the Pennine climate!)

Along with a hard-working team; Natalia, Fiona, Beth, Jamie and butcher Ian. Porcus is real food, made by real people with real provenance.

They farm around 120 pigs, making sure that the highest welfare standards are afforded to all of their pigs. They slow grow them, free range on their own pasture and allow them to do all the things pigs love to do in the beautiful outdoors of the Pennines. In return we get amazing tasting meat complemented with only the finest, freshest ingredients from which they produce fantastic, hand made Artisan Sausages, Charcuterie & Meals.
