Henry and Marion Murdoch stock the wonderful Delicatessen "Taymouth Courtyard Shop", on the Mains of Taymouth, Highland Estate, Perthshire.
Henry and Marion’s deli stocks an exciting selection of local Scottish suppliers of Meats (including Smoked Roast Beef, Pork, Chicken and Game Terrines, Smoked Venison, Haggis, Black Pudding) Oils & Vinegars, Condiments, Cheeses, Gin, Coffee, Whisky, Beer, Pates, Cakes, Biscuits and, of course, the famous Scottish Oatcake.
In the height of summer, the Taymouth Courtyard Shop stocks almost 30 local Perthshire producers’ artisan products.
Nestled on the edge of Loch Tay, close to the village of Kenmore, the 120- acre estate is set in the most stunning landscape, also home to Perthshire’s finest golf course, riding stables and restaurants. It also boasts some of the most luxurious self-catering accommodation in Scotland.
From their beautifully presented Kenmore deli, they operate a fantastic hamper business called “Food of Scotland” sending their fabulous Perthshire and Scottish produce nationwide. There is a great selection of hampers carefully selected for you.
Henry and Marion both enjoyed successful careers at The John Lewis Partnership in Edinburgh. Henry then went on to manage the famous House of Bruar at Pitlochry.
Their wealth of retail experience and passion for local and Scottish food, is evident in their deli and hamper business.
