Longhorn Fillet Beef Joint
Outstanding Fillet Beef from grass fed Longhorn beef cattle. Hung for a minimum of 32 days.
Huntsham beef comes from the Huntsham herd of Longhorn cattle. These old-fashioned, cattle were first bred over 200 years ago and were the breed which made England famous for its fine roast beef. The Longhorn is rare, but the quality of its meat remains outstanding.
Huntsham beef is hung for nearly five weeks so that the fine-grained, well-marbled meat reaches its full potential.
Huntsham, rare breed, Longhorn beef was chosen by Heston Blumenthal for his television series ‘Perfection’ as the best beef available in Britain. You can read more about Longhorn's here
The Average weight of a Longhorn Fillet is 2.75kg however each animal is a different size and therefore each fillet is a different size. We won't know the exact weight until Richard at Huntsham is ready to label and dispatch your order, at which point we will contact you if the weight is not 2.75kg.
We will need to adjust the payment taken to account for the final weight. If the weight is less than 2.75kg we will refund you, if the weight is more than 2.75kg we will request the balance. We hope you understand that this is a very special joint and Huntsham is a very special small scale supplier, and they are preparing each order individually.
