An unusual cheese made near Worcester and rolled in toasted hops from Herefordshire. Invented in 1990 it's softer than other Cheddars and has a strong distinctive flavour. This is a really popular cheese in these parts, so much so that we sold 110kg of it last Christmas! Hereford Hop has a really tangy flavour and is really smooth and creamy. This cheese has been present on the base of a few wedding cheese stacks, it looks great with all the hops and as it's such a popular one, seems to go down very well to a wide variety of tastes. If you want us to supply a whole one for a stack we need at least 3 weeks notice for this particualr cheese as we normally have them as halves. Pasteurised, cow's milk, veg.
